History
AdventHealth University is a Seventh-day Adventist institution built on the campus of AdventHealth Orlando, one of the nation's leading health systems. Since its founding, AHU has grown from its roots training health care professionals for AdventHealth into a university offering 36 programs from associate through doctoral degrees, all rooted in the mission to develop skilled professionals who live the healing values of Christ.

AHU is located on the campus of AdventHealth Orlando, the largest medical center in Florida. The university maintains a 6:1 student-to-faculty ratio (8:1 in the BSN program), offers 36 health care programs from associate through doctoral degrees, and is a minority-majority campus with no single ethnic majority. More than 80% of AHU students receive a job offer from AdventHealth within one year of graduating, and about 2,300 AHU alumni currently work across the AdventHealth system.
